Outdoors

The dining room leads out to a patio area which has comfortable wooden garden furniture.  Here you can sit and have a meal whilst enjoying the scenery over the northern Isles of Orkney or watching the large diversity of wildlife.  Regular visitors include hen harriers, hare and short eared owls to name a few.  A small barbecue area will be provided from summer 2008.

There is a large garden area with each cottage.  There is plenty of grassed area to kick the ball about, play with the dog or simply relax.  A small wildlife area will be developed for 2008, where bird tables will be present to attract a wide range of birds.  These bird tables will be kept well stocked with food.

Each cottage has a separate area for hanging the washing out to dry.

A small shed has been provided where you can store your bikes, fishing or any other outdoor gear.

There are large private parking facilities available.
